ACS People - Simon Davies
As part of our series of bringing the people of ACS into a more personal perspective, we chose our Operations and Logistics Manager, Simon Davies.
Simon goes back a long way with the company and with our MD Harvey Hunt.
He has grown through the development of ACS and is a highly skilled professional occupying a pivotal role in today’s company.
He determines and is responsible for the performance levels of the whole operations team. He ensures that we offer “best value” customer service and that we buy our goods and services prudently and with performance as the major criteria.
Importantly he also handles any of the issues or complaints from our clients or our customers and ensures resolution and remedial action if deemed necessary. This may involve ensuring changes to our own internal systems to avoid any repetition.
In his life outside ACS Simon is married with two boys and two girls and from his home in Warwick, loves nothing more than getting away to Devon with the family and their caravan. He supports Aston Villa – someone has to! (and Leamington FC!) and loves the game of football. Italian and Indian are his special food choices and at some point he would love to see Australia.
