During the claims process customers will need to agree and identify choice items, sanitary ware, kitchens, tiles the list is endless. Traditionally this is a problematic area that necessitates customers visiting many builders merchants or studying numerous brochures. It is time consuming and the cause of a good deal of frustration.
ACS have come up with an easier alternative which we call “swan shopping”. We have developed an online shop where policy holders can select the replacement items they require within tightly controlled expenditure allowances agreed with the insurer. Once the policy holder has made the selections they require, we are sent an inventory by email which we can issue directly to the supplier.
Our partnering agreement with multi national suppliers allows tight program control. Ensuring delivery of goods to site to suit the time line of the repair schedule agreed with the customer. The overall process provides greater time efficiency and reduces the overall life of the claim.
An added benefit of “Swan Shopping” is that it allows payment and collection of policy excess and non insured contributions via the on line system.
