
Health & Safety
We work to the exacting principles laid down by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) for our industry. This means effectively controlling risks and preventing harm to people, whilst maintaining operational efficiency.
We carry out ongoing internal audits which indicate health and safety areas that are potentially in need of improvement, and set benchmarks for improvements throughout our diverse operational areas. These audits are carried out by our own “NEBOSH” (National Examination Board of Occupational Health & Safety) trained and qualified on site senior manager.
Because the majority of our working areas inevitably interface directly with our Customers, any potential health and safety issues on site are part of the discussion with the Customer prior to the works being carried out.
Going forward we are studying employing an external quality assured system for benchmarking improved health and safety procedures within ACS.
